Temporary HR Record Retention Assistant- Temporary Hire (Req#2625)
Job Description
The HR Record Retention Assistant is responsible for digitizing paper employee files and uploading them to an electronic database. The HR Record Retention Assistant will also support new hire onboarding by creating employee files, uploading new hire documents, and assembling new hire packets.
This is a part-time (20-25 hour a week) position working onsite at our Lynn, MA office. The HR Record Retention Assistant is a 16-week position beginning in late June.
Skills and Experience:
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information according to established Bank policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel required.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Reviews records for accuracy.
- High school completer (Diploma or GED) required.
- 1-3 years progressive administrative experience, preferably in HR.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Frequently required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. Occasionally required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Must have the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. Frequently observes details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Must occasionally lift and/or move boxes or equipment up to 20 pounds across office for various needs. Work Environment:
Persons holding this position are generally subject to inside environmental conditions having the lighting, temperature, and noise level of an open floor-plan office environment (moderate, but occasionally loud at times). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.
