Full-Time Payroll and Benefits Administrator (Part-time)

Job Description

We are looking for:

Payroll and Benefits Administrator (Part-time) to ensure the smooth administration of payroll and benefits for our company’s expanding payroll department and provide vital support to our employees on all matters related to payroll and benefits.

You will have strong administrative and data management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Payroll or benefits experience is desirable but not essential, as the company will provide training. You should have good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and timely, including employee records, salary, taxes, variable pay, pension and other deductions and benefits as applicable.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to payroll and benefits administration.
  • Extracting timesheet reports and entering the data into payroll.
  •  Handle the coordination of benefit and payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, changes in employee status and changes in benefits selection.
  • Maintaining the payroll inbox by answering payroll and benefits queries from employees in a timely manner.
  • Keep abreast of company policies and tax legislations that impact on payroll and remuneration.
  • Prepare tax forms related to employee earnings, tax obligations, and benefits reporting such as P45s, P60s, and P11Ds.
  • Ensure that the payroll system is effective and appropriate for the needs of the business – recommend changes and upgrades as appropriate.
  • Participate in audits and reviews related to payroll and benefits processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the HR team to optimise the efficient and effective management of payroll and benefits administration.
  • To provide administration support to the Payroll team as required and to be flexible in extending support to other departments/stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in data managements.
  • High proficiency in the use of MS Office (especially MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Accurate with close attention to detail
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Good stakeholder and relationship management
  • Excellent planning and organization skills with the ability to multi-task, manage time, and accept changing priorities.
