Specialist Neurodevelopment Practitioner – Autism and ADHD
POSITION: Permanent, Full Time or Part Time
HOURS: Flexible – weekday and weekend hours available. We have a range of options available in terms of working hours and contracts – if you feel you meet the criteria please do apply and we can discuss options further.

SALARY: £44,500 – £54,075 FTE

As a Specialist Neurodevelopment Practitioner, you will play a pivotal role in our Neurodevelopment team providing high quality diagnostic assessments as well as in some areas, offering post-diagnostic support to help children, adults and their families understand their diagnosis.
What you need to have

- A clinical qualification in Occupational Therapy, Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing, Psychology (Educational, Counselling, Clinical or Forensic) or Speech and Language Therapy
- Registration with the relevant statutory body (NMC, HCPC, RCSLT, ACP or AEP)
- ADOS and/or ADIR trained and experienced
- Two years experience of Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessment and interventions
- Experience of delivering structured assessments including diagnostic observations, consideration of third party evidence and completing a full diagnosis formulation.
- An excellent understanding of ADHD and Autism and how this presents in children and young people, and adults; and the differential considerations.
