As a certified PMP Senior Project Manager, you will orchestrate complex, enterprise-level infrastructure and IT integration projects from inception to launch. With keen expertise across cloud platforms, cybersecurity, software development, and automation, you’ll seamlessly navigate both technical and non-technical realms. Through open communication and creative problem-solving, you’ll foster an environment of continuous improvement. After an initial period of training, this position is eligible for a hybrid-remote work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project teams through the project initiation and planning process (i.e., develop Project Charter, Scope, Budget, Resource Plan, Schedule) through execution and delivery, focusing on technical precision and operational excellence.
- Manage technical and non-technical aspects of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and contractual obligations.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex technical details and project impacts into understandable terms.
- Conduct risk assessments for projects, developing mitigation strategies to address potential IT security, compliance, operational, and financial risks.
- Mentor and lead project teams in technical disciplines, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation.
Experience and Education Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience leading or managing projects in a technology department, with significant experience in technical project leadership.
- Certifications in Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS), and/or Cybersecurity (CISSP) are highly desirable.
- Experience working in a multi-office law firm or professional services environment is advantageous.
