Project title: CRM UX/UI Designer Management Support
Project begins: May 22, 2024
Project length: May 22, 2024 – Oct 31, 2024
Hourly Rate: $85/hr
Project Overview: This is a contract to support the buildout of MoveOn’s customer relationship management (CRM) platform, with a workload averaging 20 hours a week. Any hours given in a scope of work are an estimate and MoveOn does not guarantee a specific number of hours to its contractors.

Scope of work:
Collaborate with Lead Designer, product, QA, and tech engineers team members to produce easy-to-use interfaces for custom CRM application
Responsible for design research, implementation and iterative follow-up ensuring product usability and aesthetics
Translate functional requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
Support the development of a design system for the CRM application
Present design concepts to stakeholders, providing insight into your design process and demonstrating how your work aligns with user needs and business goals
Display strong initiative, addressing issues without prompting.
Works closely with: Crystal Andrews (Managing Director of Product)
The contractor will also work closely with key staff including tech engineers, product managers, UX Designers, QA contractor, and business stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or certification in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in managing multiple medium-to-large scale software development projects/programs collaborating with cross functional teams
Demonstrated experience in UX/UI design including wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, moderated and unmoderated user testing, and accessibility testing
Ability to produce and iterate on prototypes quickly
Proficiency in tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent prototyping tools
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Have a portfolio showcasing relevant UI/UX design projects and processes
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to creatively solve problems in a rapid response environment
Understanding of accessibility best practices

Most-favorable terms:
MoveOn reserves the right to make an award without further discussion of the proposal submitted. Therefore, the proposal should be submitted initially on the most favorable terms that the vendor could propose. There will be no best-and-final-offer procedure. MoveOn does reserve the right to contact a vendor for clarification of its proposal.
The vendor should be prepared to accept this request for proposal for incorporation into a contract resulting from this request for proposal. Contract negotiations may incorporate some or the vendor’s entire proposal. It is understood that the proposal will become a part of the official procurement file on this matter without obligation to MoveOn.

This request for proposal does not obligate MoveOn to contract for services specified herein.
Rejection of proposals
MoveOn reserves the right at its sole discretion to reject any and all proposals received without penalty and not to issue a contract as a result of this request for proposal.
