Job Description
Essential Position Functions:
- Match, review and verify invoices and check requests for posting
- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Set invoices up for payment
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor files
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Assist with month end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or educational equivalent. 4 years’ experience. Knowledge of accounting and procurement practices. Basic knowledge of company pay policies & procedures. Detail oriented. Effective communication skills.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, handles complex tasks within accounts payable and/or accounts receivables. May provide functional advice and training to lower-level employees. Monitors status of third-party orders requiring payments and assists lower-level specialists. Handles special projects, as assigned.
