Full-Time Homeless and Rough Sleeper Worker
Job Description
The Derbyshire Recovery Partnership Substance Misuse Service is looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who can work independently and using their own initiative.
This Rough Sleepers Worker role will be a team of two and will involve working across the Derbyshire County, delivering substance use specific interventions into the homeless and rough sleeping community. This specific vacancy will cover south area of Derbyshire, full time 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday, on a fixed term contract to 31/03/25. The role will involve delivering engagement and outreach activities to identified individuals within a hostel environment or to those who are rough sleeping/sofa surfing, to support readiness for an uptake of accommodation options and improved health outcomes, increasing the engagement of those with complex needs into substance misuse services. It will also involve attending homelessness forums and rough sleeper focused multi-agency meetings across the county.
