Event Supervisor
This position is responsible for organizing day-to-day operations for Eccentric Cafe Events. This position will help ensure that the department meets annual business plan and maintains a high level of customer experience.
Essential Duties:
- Manage and develop team, including hiring and training, performance, and coaching
- Assists the Customer Experience Manager with organization, planning, and implementation of departmental strategy and budget.
- Ensures staff is delivering a world class guest experience and meeting departmental objectives. Including timely responsiveness to guest inquiries (phone, email, etc.)
- Manage planning and execution of all performances and events of the Eccentric Cafe; planning and scheduling of staff, event, facility needs and vendors
- Assists with overseeing Box Office, inventory management, monitoring and ordering related to supplies, beer, and POS; ensures all menu, POS information is accurate and updated
- Assist the Customer Experience Manager as needed with event planning and execution
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Education/ Experience/Skills:
- 3+ years of leadership and customer service experience
- 2+ years of experience with event programming, production and execution
- Knowledge of all Bell’s brands, history, process, and culture, required within 6 months of hire
- Advanced verbal and written communication, including public speaking
- Knowledge of the beer industry and trends
- Knowledge and experience with Kalamazoo area events and Corporate Partners
- Thorough understanding of legal requirements for serving alcohol
- High level interpersonal and mediation skills. Ability to deal with difficult situations and resolve matters appropriately and effectively
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 90 lbs. 10 inches, and carry up to 40 lbs 100 feet.
- Ability to push/pull weights up to 50 lbs. and maintain the grip strength required to carry objects including buckets and cases.
- Must also show fine motor dexterity.
- Demonstrate their ability to climb stairs, stoop, kneel, twist, squat and reach overhead.
- The position requires frequent, constant standing and walking.

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.
Starting Wage Range: $25.00 – $27.75
