Location:
This position is on site at Denver International Airport a minimum of three days per week. Other on-site duties include weekends and extended hours for events or weather as needs arise (potential on call) and sometimes photo, video and audio engagements in other locations in the Denver metro area as assigned.

DEN is seeking a dynamic and innovative videographer and photographer to join the Global Communications and Marketing team. This creative role demands a keen eye for detail and a knack for crafting compelling visual stories that resonate with our diverse audience while adhering to our brand standards. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality content with swift turnaround times, while collaborating with various departments to showcase the bustling world of Denver’s gateway to the skies. Key responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrates compelling storytelling in videography and photography from concepting through production and editing while maintaining the DEN brand and strategic communications priorities.
- Concepts, creates and edits video, photo, audio, and graphic/animated content for internal and external audiences, including social media. Responsible for creative briefs, script writing, storyboarding, and production and editing in the studio, on-site, and remote locations. Experience with digital asset management systems is preferred and a strong methodology for organizing and archiving project files and Broll.
- Short and long format video production required, with expertise and ability to turn out high quality content within a business day or a few hours, including accurate captioning.
- Works closely with colleagues, vendors, partners, community members and local government, at all levels, including executives and senior leadership. A high level of professionalism, flexibility and creativity is required.
- Collaborates with clients to discuss technical details and requirements and executes agreed upon concepts. Can manage a project and production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Must have the ability to work autonomously and with internal stakeholders to turn story ideas into video and photo communications while adhering to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a self-starter that can work with little direction and jump into projects, juggle multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changes in project scope, deadlines and priorities, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Creates visually appealing graphics and animations. Utilizes industry-standard design software to develop engaging visuals that resonate with the airport’s audiences and enhance digital content.
- Stays abreast of the latest video and editing technology and best practices.
- Experience with in-house studio productions and equipment, including lighting, audio equipment and editing technology. Responsible for checklists for recording days and ensuring software and hardware are all fully functioning. Manages timelines and production schedules by communicating and collaborating with team.
- Captures compelling, high-resolution photographs for various airport initiatives, events and marketing materials. Edits and retouches images to ensure they meet DEN’s visual standards and brand guidelines.
- Organizes and maintains an extensive library of digital assets.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
About You
What You’ll Offer:
We are looking for someone with some or all of the following experience:
- Proven experience in videography, photography, graphics and animation.
- Proficiency with industry-standard multimedia software and equipment, including Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Mirrorless/DSLR cameras, and lighting setups.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition and design principles, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing studio production, equipment and multimedia projects from concept to completion.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A bachelor’s degree in multimedia, film production, graphic design, or a related field or equivalent experience (recruitment will advise on this language).
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Education requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Digital Filmmaking & Video Production, Visual Effects & Motion Graphics, or a related field.
- Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of professional experience directing and editing television documentary, magazine, or news shows.
- Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
- Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
- License/Certifications: By position, requires a valid Driver’s License at the time of application.
- Licenses and certifications must be kept current as a condition of employment.
