Salary Range: $96,785 to $120,979 per annum plus comprehensive benefits and vacation accrual

Location: 7120 Hurontario St. Mississauga and other Peel Housing Corporation buildings
Hours of work: 35 Hours per week
Who we are: Peel Housing Corporation provides safe, well maintained living environments for tenants in Peel Living and Region of Peel owned properties including: 71 residential properties, two transitional housing residences and three emergency shelters. These services contribute to a positive experience for residents and enhance neighbourhoods where the buildings are located.
Reporting to: Program Manager, Multi Residential Asset Management
What you will do in this role:
- Collaborates with other divisional representatives with a focus on interior renovations and associated components in occupied residential buildings
- Develops and implements the design and construction with both external and in-house experts, utilizing industry standard project management processes
- Leads and delivers projects from the perspective of asset renewal and end-user/client satisfaction
- Manages work requests for interior renovations by purposely integrating occupant needs and accommodations related to health, accessibility, safety and security
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders and consultants,vendors, contractors, senior management and board members
- Ensures successful delivery of assigned projects; measures of successful delivery to include client satisfaction, budgets, or schedules
- Tracks work progress and prepare monthly summaries and report progress to management and client representatives
- Monitors all project financials and progress.
- Directly negotiates project changes to minimize Peel Living’s financial risk while maintaining the quality and schedule of the project
What the role requires:
- University degree in Architecture or Engineering plus a minimum of 3 years related experience preferably in asset management and residential buildings
- Knowledge of building standards and relevant legislation including Ontario Building Code, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), Ontario Fire Code, the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Residential Tenancy Act
- Working knowledge of all Architectural, Structural, Mechanical building components including an understanding of their interactions, life cycle and performance.
Assets:
- Working knowledge of facility site security infrastructure, technologies, protocols and processes is a preferred asset
- Ontario Association of Architects membership/licensed Architect or Technologist or Licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, would be an asset
- PMP designation is considered to be an asset
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills required to influence decisions, to present information to varied audiences and conduct successful negotiations at times under adverse conditions
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive reports, develop creative solutions to complex problems and present recommendations
- Project management skills, organizational abilities, time management skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Team player with strong public relations skills to build partnerships and collaborative relationships

Work Mode & Job Location:
In this role you will have the ability to work remotely and attend on-site when required based on operational requirements at the 7120 Hurontario St. Mississauga, ON worksite. The frequency of on-site activities may vary on a weekly basis and based on operational requirements. Your remote work location must be located within the province of Ontario.
