The postholder will be responsible for making sure the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard. They will perform regular checks and carry out repairs and when required contact external agents to support.
They will also be responsible for providing a safe and courteous transportation service for our patients to and from the hospice and the collection and delivery of hospice supplies as and when required.

Contract: We are pleased to be able to offer this post as a full time permanent position.
Salary: St Ann’s Band 2, £22,383-£22,583, per annum Competency Based Framework
Working pattern: 37.5 hours per week, (Monday – Friday). Occasional weekend work may be requested to support the organisation.
Based at: Heald Green, Cheadle

The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which is covered by the hospice. St Ann’s Hospice is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk and children.
Any post holder within the organisation will be expected to undertake safeguarding training appropriate to their role and adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff must work in accordance with their statutory roles and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding in accordance with the Working Together to Safeguarding Children 2023, The Care Act 2014, and Prevent Duty 2015.
