We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, External Reporting Manager to join our Regulatory Reporting team within Finance/Controllership. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA- HYBRID

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Responsible for most of the financial statement, deposit, loan, security, derivative, and cross-border reporting, which also includes the FR Y-14 series of reports (FR Y-14Q / FR Y-14M), FFIEC 031 Call Reports, FR Y-9C, and 23A.
  • Drives the strategic external reporting program within a business/business partner area, across multiple businesses/business partner areas and/or regions.
  • Establishes a comprehensive external reporting infrastructure.
  • Has a conceptual understanding of the regulatory requirements that exist within the assigned area and how these requirements may be addressed/ Sets specialty priorities and allocates resources to align with external reporting objectives.
  • Leads consultation on external reporting issues, questions and problems and provides guidance to senior business managers, more junior external reporting managers.
  • Liaises with other business units in relation to regulatory matters.  Works across global and regional groups to communicate external reporting matters effectively to senior business management and liaises with other business units in relation to regulatory matters.
  • Manages the performance of more junior managers and a team of external reporting staff, coaching and guiding on regulatory reporting and strategy. Coaches and guides more junior managers and assigned staff on improving the execution of the complicated external reporting activities and achievement of multi-faceted goals.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor‘s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 12-15 years of experience in regulatory reporting preferred.
  • Experience in external reporting and/or internal audit preferred
