We are looking for a Simulation Technician/Instructor/Trainer for RTS-MED at Camp Parks. This program is responsible for a variety of medical training support for the US Army reserve.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Simulation Technician/Instructor/Trainer will serve as the primary instructor/trainer/trainer responsible for the maintenance, training, setup, and recovery off all site OHIT systems such as MC4.
Duties include:
- Providing training on admin and user level functions of systems.
- Primary SLOC holder for all OHIT systems hardware.
- Ability to establish and configure large local area networks consisting of over 20+ end users
- Serving as the SME and equipment site level maintainer for all Medical Simulators and Devices.
- Managing all aspects of regular maintenance, setup, use, and disestablishment of clinical training areas to include skills lab, Role 1-3 facilities, and other training areas.
- Primary instructor/trainer for moulage and simulator user level training.
- Responsibility for ordering and maintain Class VIII medical equipment, moulage supplies, and other material related to the operations of simulators and clinical skills training areas.
- Working with instructor/trainers and staff to ensure simulator training requirements are met for section modular training.
- SLOC holder for all simulator and skills lab materials.
- Identifying simulators that require higher level maintenance and tracks/coordinates all material evacuation and return requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Required Bachelor’s degree IAW Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) requirement.
- Possess certification as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Certified Healthcare. Simulation Educator – Advanced (CHSE-A), or Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS) by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSIH) or be able to obtain CHSE certification within 2 years from date of hire. - CompTIA A+ certified or achieve CompTIA A+ certification within 90 days of hire.
- Required proficiency in the use of audio/visual equipment.
- Proficiency with high fidelity patient and canine simulators, software, hardware, and maintenance.
- Shall obtain rough terrain forklift license within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to obtain Common Access Card (CAC).
- U.S. Citizenship (required by federal contract).
