Do you have an organised mind and eye for accuracy? Are you interested in dealing with data?

Then working in our Data team might be the right job for you. We are looking for someone to join our friendly team as an Admin Lead, to learn how to work with and process our student data.

Throughout the year you will be involved in a number of key procedures including student applications, enrolments, timetabling & registers, exams and audit. You will be taught all about college funding, how and why our students are funded, and the importance of ensuring that our data is correct. This will involve you collaborating with staff at all levels to help maintain the accuracy of our learner data and to minimise and rectify errors.

As a team we pride ourselves on providing a high quality service to both students and colleagues, so we’re looking for someone who has a polite and professional attitude, excellent communication skills and a flexible and pro-active way of working. This is a varied role and would be ideally suited to someone who already has good admin experience, is analytical and solution focussed, with a keen eye for detail. You will need to be confident in managing your own workload, have the ability to multi-task, and be able to work effectively under pressure, but also have a good sense of humour!

You will mainly be working on a computer, so you will need to have good digital skills and be familiar with using Microsoft Teams and Excel. Further training will be given on any other software.

In return, Abingdon & Witney College offer excellent benefits to our employees including generous pension and holiday schemes (with potential Christmas closure days), continued professional development, flexible working options, corporate gym membership, cycle/tech scheme and much more.

If you think this sounds like a job for you, come join our Data team and be part of a college that values accuracy, efficiency, and the power of data!

Closing date: 29th January 2024 (MIDNIGHT)

No candidate will meet every single desired qualification / criteria. If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you!
