Part-Time Hourly paid Lecturer – TAQA (Training assessment/Quality Assurance) Assessor

Job Description

£26.58 – £34.45 per hour, dependent on level of teaching qualification  

18.5 hours per week 

The working pattern is TBC 

Various weeks per annum 

Abingdon Campus 

Fixed term until 26th July 2024 

Start date: TBC 

 

The opportunity has arisen for a qualified and competent TAQA Assessor to join the Learning Development team to plan, implement and deliver Level 3 and Level 4  TAQA programmes to a range of staff within Abingdon and Witney College. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Teaching Skills Academy to support learners studying assessor and quality assurance courses. This will include working with diverse learners who teach within a variety of industry sectors. 

 

Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college. 

This role may be eligible for the ‘Taking Teaching Further (TTF)’ programme, which supports professionals as they move into teaching in the further education sector. Support from the TTF programme can include an initial reduction in teaching workload and enrolment onto teacher training.
