Job Description
Compensation: 36.79 to 45.21/hr.
Hybrid Telework: This position is designated as “hybrid telework,” meaning you will be working both remotely (from home) and in person at an onsite location. This will require at least one (1) day in the office a week. The designation of Hybrid Telework may be subject to change at a future time. All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations. The onsite work location for this position is Multnomah Building: 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland, OR 97214
Schedule: Monday – Friday; There may be some flexibility with start and end times. A 9/80 schedule will be considered as well.

Multnomah County’s Supplier Diversity Programs are designed to promote diversity and equal access for businesses seeking to sell goods and services to the County within the construction field. The County seeks to increase the participation of Women and People of Color in the construction trades through apprenticeship opportunities on Multnomah County projects through the Workforce Training and Hiring Program.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The position is responsible for ensuring that the provision of the Workforce Training and Hiring and Good Faith Effort programs are in compliance and are adhered to by first tier, subsequent tier contractors, and suppliers on County Contracts. The position is also responsible for encouraging the use of apprentices within Multnomah county that represent a diverse workforce. Additionally, this position will also work to mitigate risk by ensuring that the following policies are being complied with, such as Public Contracting Review Board Division 60 Rules and the PUR-8 Sustainability and Social Equity Policy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree. Experience may substitute for a degree.
- Two (2) years of a combination of experience in Labor and/or contract compliance, construction contracting, interpreting and applying public rules, and managing competing stakeholder interests.
