About the position
Reporting to the Vice President, Training, the Senior Director, Training Hub will play a critical role in shaping, leading and scaling StriveTogether’s Training Hub courses and offerings. This role is responsible for co-designing, developing, and delivering best in class eLearning courses and offerings for place-based leaders across the country. This role is also responsible for ensuring that StriveTogether’s methodologies and recommended approaches are disseminated effectively. A successful candidate will possess strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities and duties
Delivery & Scale Training Hub Offerings
- Steward the Training Hub as the premier place for place-based leaders to develop the knowledge and skills they need to change systems and improve outcomes by leveraging and coordinating the Training Hub team to implement a high-volume roster of workshops and courses.
- Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for delivering and scaling Training Hub workshops, courses and other offerings that reaches 75,000 engagements by 2030.
- Support the design and implementation of impactful, interactive and innovative Training Hub offerings for a diverse range of audiences, including community members, place-based partnership staff and key partners. This includes building strategies to deliver training in various formats and platforms to ensure a wider reach.
- Collect feedback, evaluate Training Hub offering effectiveness and continuously refine and enhance offerings
- Work closely with others to ensure that Training Hub offerings are aligned with organizational goals.
- Support work with key stakeholders to identify new Training Hub offerings and adjust existing offerings to meet participant needs.
Team Leadership
- Cultivate a robust Training Hub team for optimized delivery at scale. Ensure the team is well-prepared to tackle challenges of rapid growth and expansion of offerings.
- Lead, mentor and develop the training and development team of staff and consultants to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery across all Training Hub offerings
- Engage with other StriveTogether teams to ensure Training Hub offerings align with needs of Cradle to Career Network Members and the place-based partnership field.
Internal Alignment
- Coordinate with team members including Director of Training and Director, Director of Instructional Design and others on relevant and integrated programmatic supports.
- Work across StriveTogether teams to ensure consistency and alignment of offerings and in alignment with StriveTogether priorities.
- Monitor and evaluate trainee progress at the program population level, synthesizing data to support action around continuous program improvement.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of lived, related experience, Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in training, with a significant focus on delivery at scale with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity
- Believes deeply in championing race equity and committed to ensuring all individuals succeed regardless of race, socioeconomic status or zip code
- Proven record in designing, implementing and scaling training programs for diverse audiences
- Understanding of various training platforms and methodologies
- Strong facilitation and public speaking skills
- Familiarity with community-driven work and public sectors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated expertise in leading teams through periods of growth and change
- Ability to think critically and solve problems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Approximately 20% travel required
