Hourly Paid Lecturer in Counselling
£26.58 – £34.45 per hour, dependent on level of teaching qualification
Various hours per week
The working pattern is TBC
Various weeks per annum
Abingdon Campus & Witney Campus
Fixed term until 30th September 2024
Are you a qualified Counsellor looking for an opportunity to pass on your knowledge and skills to the next generation? Are you also a qualified teacher, or keen to learn and develop a career in teaching?
As part of the growth and development of our Counselling provision, Abingdon & Witney College are looking for a highly motivated professional to join us in delivering our Counselling courses that currently run during the day and evenings, during term time on both our Abingdon and Witney Campuses.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person and to apply for this post. You are probably a qualified Counsellor to at least level 4/5 standard and currently in practice with a minimum of 6 months post-qualifying practice experience. You are also, a member of a UK professional counselling body (such as BACP), engaging in regular professional development in line with ethical guidelines of the professional organisation.
Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
