Full-Time Director of Communication Sciences and Disorders
Job Description
Elmira College is accepting applications for Director of the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. This is a tenure-track appointment in an undergraduate-only program. A Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred; however, candidates who are ABD and/or who currently hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology will be considered. ASHA certification, eligibility for New York State licensing and NYS teaching certification are required. Regular assignments will include teaching course work in Language Development, Articulation and Phonological Disorders, Diagnosis and Appraisal, Disorders of Language and other topics in the field.
In addition, the position also involves supervising undergraduate students in clinical practice in speech pathology and directing the Speech-Language Pathology clinic.
