The City of Camas is seeking applicants for a full-time IT System Administrator to join the Information Technology team. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with an option of remote work 2 days/week.

The position is anticipated to manage, support, and configure in-house and cloud software and systems. This individual also will participate in the planning and implementation of IT security, policies, and procedures to ensure system provisioning and maintenance that is consistent with city goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Candidates for this position shall have:
- Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field
- Five years’ experience as a System Administrator
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Possession of a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification from Microsoft for Windows Server 2012 – 2019 is preferred
The position is represented by the Camas Public Employees Association (CPEA) and is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes family and domestic partner benefits such as medical, dental, and vision. Retirement benefits are provided through the Washington State Retirement System. Other benefits include life insurance, paid holidays, accrued vacation time, and sick time.
