We’re seeking a future team member for the role of EMEA Legal Entity Forecasting Manager to join our Finance Professional Services Centre team. This role is located in Manchester – Hybrid.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Forecasting – Oversee the production of the EMEA legal entity plans and forecasts. Monitor and track deliverables, ensuring that the team meets reporting deadlines and escalate issues where necessary.
- Leadership – Management and oversight responsibility with effective delegation ensuring that day-to-day work is completed by the team in an accurate and timely way. Act as a role model within the EMEA Finance Professional Service Centre function and support strategic priorities.
- Oversight & Controls – Maintain the strong control environment within the team with well documented assumptions, reviews, checklists, variance analysis and procedures. Ensure team is compliant with finance control initiatives.
- Stakeholder management – Manage relationships with EMEA legal entity controllers, ensuring forecast requirements are met and actioning any feedback. Work closely with FP&A, Finance Systems, Interest Rate Risk, Corporate Treasury and Tax teams across EMEA and the U.S.
- Data – Co-ordinate and gather all upstream data dependencies for inclusion into the plan and reforecast. Work with Finance systems team to automate processes and improve data quality.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Qualified Accountant with ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA Full Accreditation or equivalent, with proven post qualified experience.
- Experience of compiling and reviewing financial statements and strong understanding of Balance Sheet and Income Statement and interactions.
- Strong budgeting and forecasting modelling experience.
- Proven management or supervisory experience, including leadership of team members, review of work and providing constructive feedback.
- Well-structured and organised with the ability to lead tasks and work effectively in a multi-located team environment.
- MAQ and TM1 experience desirable.
- Track record in process improvement, change management and controls experience in a global banking environment.
