Full-Time Senior Practitioner
Job Description
We are looking to recruit a passionate and solution focused Senior Practitioner to work closely with line management and the wider Recovery team in providing support to those with substance misuse issues. Direct experience is not essential, however transferable skills from social care or working within mental health or the justice system is required. Management experience is desirable but not essential. Senior Practitioners come from many different backgrounds and experiences, and you may have the skills required. We are seeking dedicated individuals, based on your values, willingness to learn new skills and the compassion to deliver the best service possible to the people that use our services.

The Role
As a Senior Practitioner, you will support people at HMP Hollesley Bay to reach their goals and change their lives for the better. You will be part of a passionate and skilled team, contributing to the provision of tailored interventions and recovery approaches. As a Senior Practitioner you will hold line management responsibilities for Practitioners and will work closely with the Service Manager to deliver a high quality service.
About you – Do you have?
• Experience of delivering high quality services in association with partner agencies in the Prison or substance misuse sector.
• An understanding of the complex issues presented by individuals in custody.
• A desire to work in collaboration with healthcare and the prison service whilst adhering to security requirements.
• The ability to contribute to the creative development of our treatment and recovery approach to meet the needs of our service users, our commissioners and stakeholders

Interview Process
We want you to feel comfortable to be your best during the interview process, so that you can get to know Phoenix and we can get to know you. If shortlisted, you will be contacted for a short face to face interview for approximately week commencing 23rd October 2023 and will be provided all details about the assessment process. There will also be a brief presentation that you will be asked to prepare in advance. All details will be provided in advance so that you can feel adequately prepared and we can support you with reasonable adjustments as required.
