Payroll Officer  

£25,695 – £27,299 per annum 

37 hours per week 

The working pattern is Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day, Friday 7 hours per day 

52 weeks per annum 

Abingdon Campus

Abingdon and Witney College are recruiting for a Payroll Officer to join a busy but supportive HR team. The role will involve pro-actively and independently administering the monthly payroll end to end, including a Pensioners Payroll, and supporting with related queries and audits in an accurate and timely manner. In addition, in liaison the external Pension Administrators, the successful applicant will ensure that all returns are processed on time and accurately and will also lead on the administration of employee benefits. 

You will be educated to Level 3 – and the College will support you in gaining a Payroll qualification, if you don’t already have one. The successful applicant will need experience in payroll and / or pension administration and have a strong attention to detail, as well as experience of using a HR / Payroll database.
