LOCATION
Onsite work from our Jacksonville, FL or Atlanta, GA office is required with flexibility to work remote up to 2 days per week.
SUMMARY
Responsible for leading Data and Analytics’ long-range planning and development program of a key disruptive platform to ensure the best use of its resources in accordance with objectives for growth and profitability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads innovation and manages Business Unit
Defines and implements plans for the achievement of the business unit’s goals and objectives.
Drives product vision and communicates clearly to an executive audience
Leverages influence regularly to ensure strong relationships with internal and external partners
Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved
Assigns and monitors the work of team, providing technical and analytical support and direction
Demonstrates knowledge of corporate policies and procedures.
Lead, direct and trains team effectively.
Manages the performance of subordinates and of self. Sets challenging but attainable performance objectives. Monitors progress-to-performance objectives and eliminates obstacles when possible.
Manages budgeting and financial forecasting and achieves forecasted financial results for assigned cost centers.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or a related discipline; or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
Requires 7+ years of experience in business strategy or operations
Requires 3+ years of resource management experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Master’s degree
CFA or FRM designations
Proven track record leading innovative technology solutions
Working knowledge of mortgage and capital markets lifecycles, competitive landscape, and existing solutions
Experience leading and/or overseeing projects related to data modeling, data science, ML, or statistics
High level knowledge of SQL, Python etc & data modeling with the ability to speak and translate technical terms to both technical and non-technical users
Proven innovation track record
Deep understanding and passion for innovation and emerging technology solutions
Knowledge of Black Knight’s products, services, and capabilities
Ability to independently interact with executive level clients
Ability to lead under pressure with independent judgment
Ability to lead, direct and manage effectively
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Ability to balance passion while exercising sound judgment under pressure
