Job Overview:
The Operations Analyst provides timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of business and departmental-level reporting. This position identifies, develops, and analyzes key drivers, metrics, and modeling to support decision-making and progress tracking. An Operations Analyst will work closely with department leaders assisting in planning, development and execution of key reporting and strategic analysis of process effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Provide project level analysis for day-to-day operations and supporting teams.
- Provides timely, relevant, and accurate reporting and analysis of business, department and product-level as needed.
- Supports the execution and delivery of the budget impacts and business case development.
- Standardize metric reporting with the objective of driving continuous improvement and automation wherever possible.
- Develops and drives operational dashboards.
- Utilize qualitative and quantitative analysis to continually identify trends, opportunities, and risk applicable to the operational teams and strategy.
- Performs ad hoc modeling and analysis.
- Identify, research and present possible resolutions to issues by maintaining professional and technical knowledge through personal networking, educational workshops, and professional publications.
Requirements: Qualifications – including requirements for:
- Bachelors degree in business or related field
- 1-3 years related Analysis experience
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Must have advanced computer skills including Microsoft office applications
- Ability to work effectively within a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe; manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives; satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job.
- Ability to reason, judge, compare, calculate, evaluate, and critique such information as written materials, numerical data, responses to customer needs and/or other work-related activities.
- Ability to interact with employees, customers and leaders on sensitive subjects and appropriately disagree and/or challenge a situation.
- Able to work at a computer and monitor (sitting and standing) for extended periods of time; including reading the screen and keying/typing information.
- Ability to lift up to 25Lbs; move about the office with occasional reaching and bending
- Ability to operate telephone equipment and respond to calls and in-person inquiries.
