Full-Time Director – Advertising Product Management

About the role: 

TiVo is looking for a Director, Advertising Product Management to join our growing Advertising team.  In this position you will research, define and implement the advertising products and drive inputs directly into our O&O product verticals – TV, IPTV, Mobile and web.  This position works alongside an innovative, high tech Ad Sales, Operations, Engineering and Analytics team who is responsible for monetization across our TiVo and Partner platforms.   

Responsibilities: 

  • Define the product as inputs to the product software roadmaps for OEM and MVPD partner platforms, while focused on innovation and growth.
  • Communicate roadmap and status to key stakeholders and partners.
  • Define requirements for monetization and collaborate with other PMs across the organization.
  • Define and manage key software features and KPIs based on market analysis and business objectives. 
  • Gather research and performance data and transform into technical requirements.  
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to educate and inform internal and external customers, of the value and importance of the product. 
  • Expertise working with cross-functional teams – engineering, marketing, sales, and peer product management.

Qualifications: 

  • BS degree in engineering, business, or related field required
  • 8+ years experience in advertising product management
  • 8+ years experience in ad tech roles/companies
  • MBA preferred (or alternatively, 10+ years experience in advertising product management) 
  • Ability to contribute to strategic vision and articulate it to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience with competitive analysis, user studies and product data analytics
  • Experience interfacing directly with Engineering and Design teams for design and development phases
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, Jira, and Confluence to guide product development process.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, high-growth work environment.

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $149,434 – $198,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
