Job Description

Part-time residential program assistant reporting to the Residential Program Director.  Position is non-exempt, limited to 24 hours weekly, scheduled Sunday-Tuesday or Thursday-Saturday, 4:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. paying $20 hourly.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • Will provide assistance to the Residential Program Director and residential staff as directed;
  • Company vehicle provided for shift site visits to 7 locations located with Columbus; and
  • Collecting and monitoring documentation related to staffing, safety, deficiencies, inventory and purchasing to assist with standard compliance related to City, State and national accreditation standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s level degree required;
  • Must be caring, compassionate and have a strong desire to provide aid and support independent living goals;
  • This position will impose physical demands.  In a repetitious manner, must be able to sit, stand, walk, step up, step down, climb, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull, grab, grasp and carry or lift up to 25 pounds;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on respectful and courteous interaction is essential for this position;
  • Must be able to drive company provided vehicle, have a current, valid Ohio driver’s license and good driving record with less than 4 points;
  • Must complete 90-day paid training program; and
  • Pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing are mandatory.
