Job Description
Job title: Volunteer Officer
Reports to: Volunteer Manager
Line Reports: May have opportunity to supervise operations volunteers or interns
Location: London or Birmingham – hybrid (40% office and up to 60% from home)
Salary: £23,000-£26,000 (London) or £22,500-£25,000 (Birmingham)
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent
Language Requirements: Fluency in English
Purpose of the role:
The volunteer officer will take responsibility for the communication and management of volunteer enquiries, volunteer recruitment and training, and support activities and events for our volunteers.
They will work across teams to support our volunteer strategy to have a sustainable and inclusive Volunteer Programme, which efficiently engages the skills and passions of a diverse pool of volunteers to make a meaningful contribution to the charity.
