Full-Time Business Analyst II
Job Description
SUMMARY
Conducts various types of research and analysis to support the business operations for Black Knight’s Asset Management division. Assists management to resolve business issues in an effective and productive manner. Designs, documents, and reengineers business processes and publishes business metric results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs analyses of the business goals, objectives, and needs of the general business environment
- Performs research and analysis to support business operations and presents findings to management
- Plans and designs business processes and make recommendations and changes in order to improve and deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency
- Utilizes systems and data to resolve business issues and develops recommendations to solve business operations
- Identifies and implements best practices and suggest how to improve current practices
- Calculates/estimates costs and benefits of alternative actions or solutions to establish their viability/ROI
- Analyzes and documents business processes and metrics
- May perform special projects upon request and on occasion
- May prepare reports for financial and P&L analyses
- Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combinations of education, training, and work experience
- Requires 4+ years of business analysis, operational, or analytical related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Black Knight products, services, and capabilities
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform
- Understanding of the hardware life cycle stages
- Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
- Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality work and meeting planned deadlines
- Knowledge of general business, corporate operations, and structure
- Mortgage industry experience
- Excellence in standard office software, such as MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.), Visio, etc.
- Verbal and written communication skills to audiences of various levels within the organization
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Resourceful and proactive in gathering information, sharing ideas, and suggesting innovative solutions
