Due to continued growth, the position of Configuration Coordinator has become available to join our successful team based in Reading.
Costain have been contracted for the design and build of a facility near Reading. The scope of works for this project will include Programme Management, Construction, Building Services (M&E), Instrumentation and Control Systems and various external works.
Potential candidates for this role must be able to obtain and retain Security Clearance to be able to be considered.
This is a permanent role based on site.

About the project
We’re looking for a Configuration Coordinator to support the delivery of a professional QC service to a Defence project within resource, programme and budgetary constraints, which satisfies legislative, regulatory and company requirements
The Configuration Team are responsible for the maintenance of the Configuration Management System. The system will ensure that the Project has a Configuration Management Plan for compliance to appropriate License Conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality checks of supplier documentation
- Configuration audits and management of construction drawings through to as-built
About you
- A highly motivated individual with proven experience in an information management role, possibly a former document controller
- Attention detail and right first time motivation are important attributes
- The successful candidate will either be a current holder of Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance, or have the ability and be willing to obtain security clearance required for the role.
