Salary up to £45,000 per annum including technical allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Abingdon & Witney College as an Engineering Apprenticeship Lecturer/ Assessor. You will be responsible for coaching and assessing learners on their apprenticeship programmes. You should have the relevant qualifications and/ or experience to be able to deliver and assess up to and including level 4 in engineering. The post will include supporting apprentices on their day release programmes at Abingdon campus, with assessment taking place in the apprentices’ workplace.
If you are an experienced engineer who is looking to get into teaching, then this post could be perfect you. You don’t need to be a qualified teacher – we will teach you teach! We just ask that you are motivated by helping others to learn, and that you really want to make a difference to people’s lives.

Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
