c. £70,000 pa + OTE + share options
Start: July/August
Location: London/Hybrid Remote (min. 2 days per week at SE1 6DP)
In 2023 Encore has grown past 30 full-time employees and we’re beating our revenue records every month. Our success in the B2C event market (weddings, private parties) has unlocked a phenomenal opportunity: we now have 100s of businesses (venues, agencies, corporates etc.) using Encore every month to find musicians for their events and on behalf of their clients.
We’re looking for a proven and commercially astute Head of B2B Sales to create the systems for, and rapidly scale, the B2B side of our business.
Your initial focus will be growing our revenue from repeat business customers via account-based selling, with you and your team delivering an exceptional experience to each corporate customer. There is significant opportunity to secure exclusive agreements with high-value B2B accounts who are looking for entertainment for monthly recurring events throughout the year.
The ‘open goal’ here is that we have thousands of business customers who have successfully booked through Encore since we launched 8 years ago – and hundreds more coming in each month via our marketing efforts. Only when this opportunity is captured and we have honed our sales machine will we need to scale our outbound enterprise partnership efforts.
Along the way you will hire, inspire and nurture a team of account managers (currently we have one, Dan), leading by example as you discover the tactics and strategies to achieve success.
There will be a significant amount of autonomy within the role, so an entrepreneurial approach and willingness to challenge the status quo will be required. You will be instrumental in defining and executing how we grow B2B revenue Encore for years to come. And along the way you’ll help create thousands of unforgettable musical experiences and help musicians earn a fair income across the UK and ultimately the world.
This is a full-time hybrid/remote role with at least two days per week (Thursday + one other) in our London office at The Ministry of Sound (SE1 6DP).
