As a Multi Skilled Wet Room Installer, you will be expected to:
- Carry out wet room installations to homes in a safe and proper manner, ensuring works are completed to a consistent high standard in addition to providing our customers with their best experience of customer service.
- Provide an efficient and effective service as a member of the Operations Team, creating an environment enjoyable to work in, to include colleagues, both trade and office staff as part of your team.
- Ensure that all customer homes are maintained to the highest possible standards and that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
- Be proficient in most of the following activities – installation of wet rooms including but not limited to joinery/carpentry, sheet flooring, plumbing, plastering, and tiling.
- Ensure that works are completed within the target response times.
- Provide a high standard of service to all customers.
- Carry out the work to all customer homes in accordance with current Building Regulations, Health & Safety Legislation and Association timescales.
- Ensure all PPE issued is always accounted for and kept safe and secure.
- Use/wear and apply all PPE issued by Sovini Property Services
- Assist colleagues where necessary to ensure Sovini Property Services obligations are completely fulfilled.
- Meet appraisal targets and support the delivery and achievement of overall business objectives.
- Positively promote and demonstrate the values required by the business.

- Adhere with the Health and Safety at Work Act to take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts and omissions.
To be successful in a Multi Skilled Wet room Installer role, the skills you will need:
- Competent in Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, Painting, Wall Tiling, Floor Laying including hot and cold welds.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- A knowledge of relevant legislation and/or Codes of Practicee., Construction, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with tenants, external agencies and office-based colleagues.
- Able to plan and prioritise to ensure the effective use of own time.
- Commitment to providing a high-quality service to all customers.
- Hold full UK driving licence (Manual).
- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate across multiple channels including Microsoft Teams, Face to Face and Email.
Experience or Knowledge of the below would be advantageous but not essential:
- Qualified to City and Guilds NVQ or equivalent (level 2) in relevant
- Ability to install wet rooms, including all associated works.
- Familiar with PDA and other electronic devices
- Experience working in a social housing environment.
