Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a driven and energetic Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our Genie and Corporate teams. This person will be work to build rock solid partnerships with communities, schools, military bases, and local organizations to share a future with the Terex team.

This position offers a chance to collaborate both virtually and in-person, dependent on your location.

What’s my day look like?

  • Learn and share the Terex culture and career opportunities at local schools, colleges, military base locations and local employment offices
  • Build a pipeline of talent that is focused on continuous improvement in a global, fast paced organization
  • Full cycle recruitment
  • Own and expand Terex Recruit social pages to share why we love our team and what we do
  • Showcase your expertise by creating documented, repeatable processes to share amongst our global Terex team
  • Leverage your creative and out of the box thinking by introducing unique recruitment ideas and technology
  • Organize and execute career fairs that infuse our team with the best talent in the industry
  • Other exciting duties to be included to ensure your own career growth with the Terex team

 

The Basics – Required

  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting or HR experience
  • Ability to hold to a high level of confidentiality with solid ethics and integrity

 

Nice to Have – Not Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and or equivalent experience
  • Proven history of organization and meeting project deadlines
  • Experience using WorkDay
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Terex equipment, or other heavy equipment manufacturing company
  • Ability to influence hiring managers’ talent decisions by providing value-adding recruiting-related advice, strong problem solving and consensus building skills
  • Knowledge of the labor market(s) and talent pools; and industry trends
  • Intuitive, critical listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and in team environment, with a commitment to collaborative work, mentoring and knowledge sharing

 

Salary: The compensation range for this position is $65-75k annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
