Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Enterprise IT Programs to join the Legrand Team remotely.

 

Reporting directly to the CIO, the Manager, Enterprise IT Programs is responsible for three primary areas within the Legrand North & Central America (LNCA) IT organization: (1) Operational oversight for corporate functions including Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, and Corporate Social Responsibility (2) Leadership of all program office and financial management activities for the enterprise LNCA IT organization, and (3) Execution of strategic planning program designed to lower TCO, improve operational performance of the IT organization and align IT strategy with business objectives. The role is designed to prepare an ambitious individual for enterprise IT executive leadership through the management of a full range of technical, operational, and strategic activities within the IT organization.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Responsible for IT project management and delivery for the LNCA corporate functions; HR, Legal, Finance, Procurement, Corporate Social Responsibility. This will include working with key business partners and internal and external IT teams for demand management, project delivery, roadmap development, and IT operations management.
  • Leadership of the program office will include responsibility for identifying and deploying an IT project management methodology across the IT organization and maintaining the toolkit of standard templates and artifacts to support a consistent organizational approach to project execution. The role will also include annual IT annual planning and budgeting, program and project tracking, and operational performance measurement.
  • Will also be accountable for working directly with divisional and corporate IT leaders to develop a strategic planning program. They will work to ensure IT objectives and business objectives are aligned at divisional and enterprise level. Three-year goals, actions, timelines, and measures to achieve alignment will be established. Executive communication materials and serving as “chief storyteller” for LNCA enterprise IT will also be a key success criterion for the role.

Qualifications

Key knowledge and experience include:

  • Leadership by influence and persuasion in a matrixed environment
  • IT operations and project management
  • Software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
  • Annual IT budgeting & FP&A planning
  • Executive communications

 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in information technology, computer science, or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

 

Experience:

  • 7+ years in IT project management or program leadership role. Manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Experience working effectively and efficiently in a highly-matrixed global organization across multiple executive stakeholders
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing large-scale project implementations from start to finish
  • Hands-on experience using a wide variety of program and project management tools and techniques

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Technical project management; kknowledge of project management best practices and methodologies (ex. Agile, SDLC, PMBOK)
  • Portfolio and management program
  • Must have a financial acumen in budgeting and/or project portfolio financial reporting.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with all levels of leadership
  • Attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
  • Ability to build trust and relationships across the enterprise
