Our service provides opportunities for innovation in 1:1 support and group work activities and signpost substance and alcohol services. We work with a Harm Minimisation Model to support 29 residents with long term substance and alcohol use issues who have been or are at risk of homelessness.

We are looking for a Support Project Worker to provide support to adults with complex needs. You will use creative ways to engage residents, empower them to identify and achieve goals and to increase their resilience. You will promote a culture of responsibility to prepare residents for future independence, including confidence building, accessing substance misuse services, linking with GPs and learning opportunities, paying service charges, managing relationships and adhering to licence agreements. You will maximise the safety and wellbeing of residents and visitors and will be responsible for administration tasks. You will record incidents, accidents and safeguarding issues that require further investigation and share appropriately.

Based on site, you will be on a four-week rolling rota with a mixture of early and late shifts, working one weekend out of four. You will receive extensive training prior to starting.

We are looking for a friendly, professional person who is able to engage and relate well with people. You will be passionate about working with adults with complex needs and have the ability to work alongside our team to develop safe, boundaried and consistent relationships with residents. You will be able to complete key work for residents, link in with external agencies and advocate for vulnerable people. You will have an understanding of the key risks, challenges and opportunities for adults with complex needs and a commitment to using a range of methods to enable them to develop and thrive. You will also be an excellent organiser with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain health and safety.
