Full-Time Lead Analyst

Salary Range: $6,480 – $9,541 Monthly

 

The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Lead Analyst to join an excellent team. This is a full-time, permanent, management service position with the Division of Health Policy & Analytics.

What you will do!
As the Health Information Technology Oversight Council (HITOC) Lead Analyst for the Office of Health Information Technology and Analytics Infrastructure (OHITAI), you will provide lead staffing and facilitation to groups, such as HITOC, and its subcommittees and workgroups. HITOC is responsible for oversight, policy and strategic planning for health IT in Oregon. This position is responsible for tracking policy and the practical application of it through strategic planning and committee work.

In this role, you will work closely with senior management and partners in the development of strategies, policies and programs created through OHITAI. You will be responsible for analyzing and synthesizing complex, disparate pieces of information into clear concepts. You will advise senior management, provide policy analysis and engage with legislators, Medicaid Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs), healthcare organizations, other state agencies, the Governor’s office, and other partners.

Additionally, you will provide policy analysis and research, participate in the development of informational documents and meeting materials, and work closely with other staff members on communication tools for both public and private sector partners. You may provide high level program management support for policies and strategic planning for health IT in Oregon.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Health, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and five years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

OR

  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to eight years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
