Primary Purpose:

Responsible for analyzing data and supporting the implementation of risk mitigation measures associated with the contracting and use of non-employee resources at the Company. Develops and implements risk management systems and dashboards, reporting for the development of training and best practices. Drives compliance with current Company policies by building relationships with vendors and host managers. Works closely with other departments, including Legal and Supply Management, to provide guidance, data, and on issues involving non-employee resources. Selects and manages and implements technology solutions to drive compliance, cost savings and risk mitigation.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage technology requirements to ensure that the technology solution reflects the functionality necessary to address business goals and objectives. Includes data analysis, modeling and process management as part of requirements facilitation. Model systems and data to a logical level, user interface design and prototyping, decision tables/trees, data flows, modeling and processes using various notation (use cases, class diagrams, activity diagrams, business process modeling notation.).
  • Technology – Provide application support to ensure that end-user issues are managed to resolution, identify, develop and implement effective technology solutions that address moderately complex initiatives.
  • Interpret, analyze and provide useful data in support of the NER program and strategy to mitigate risks and reduce costs.
  • Reporting Obligations – Support and point person for the Company’s reporting obligations as it relates to non-employees, including compliance with SB 1162, which requires the Company to submit an annual pay data report for workers hired through a labor contractor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in category management, strategic sourcing, human resources, business management, project management, data analysis required.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data while working within complex systems.
  • Persuasive communication skills (oral and written).
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • A demonstrated ability to attain skill development in addition to work duties.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability (using data to solve operational problems).
  • A working understanding of utility and/or energy environments, operating procedures, and economics or regulation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Human Resources, Supply Chain, related field or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional team participatory experience.
  • Successful project management experience (including leading teams to deliver a project on time, and with a high degree of quality).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or SPHR Certification.

Work Schedule
HYBRID: Work a combination of onsite and remote days each week, typically 2-3 days per week.
