Job Description

Are you passionate about storytelling, bid writing, relationship building, meeting targets and changing lives? Would you like to use your extensive experience of bid writing and stewarding significant funders to drive Create’s fundraising strategy?

The Development Manager (Grants) will provide administrative, bid-writing, research, reporting and stewardship to the Trusts and Foundations (T/F) Development (fundraising) team. The candidate will be a key player in a team that has seen its fundraising increase significantly in recent years, as Create fulfils its ambitious plans to double its reach by its 25th anniversary in 2028.

The T/F team is responsible for securing over 50% of the charity’s income, managing an extensive portfolio of current funders, approaching a well-researched pipeline of potential funders, and researching prospects. The successful candidate will share Create’s commitment to the transformative power of the creative arts within community settings, with exceptional written and verbal communication, research, organisational and IT skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Please note this role is offered at full-time though Create welcomes requests for reduced or part time hours to a minimum of 0.8 FTE.

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience).
