The working pattern is Tuesday 4 hours, Wednesday to Thursday 7.5 hours, Friday 7 hours, Saturday 4 hours (some flexibility)

We are recruiting for an experienced and well organised Horticulture Technician/Instructor with a passion for inspiring young people to join the team at Common Leys Farm Campus.
This is an exciting post, giving the successful applicant the opportunity to work across the Horticulture Unit that has dedicated ornamental gardens, market garden, polytunnels and greenhouses.
The successful candidate will undertake technical instruction of a wide range of horticulture practices to students, this will include supporting the delivery of our RHS qualifications as well as leading on our market garden and providing produce for the onsite farm shop.
You should hold a recognised Horticulture qualification and have some experience of working within a commercial garden. You must enjoy working with people and be confident instructing students in a wide variety of routine duties and practical horticulture tasks.
You would be part of a dedicated, flexible team of lecturers, instructors, technicians and support staff based at the Common Leys Farm Campus.
