We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist, Change Management to join our Regulatory Change and Support team. This role is located in Manchester, Hybrid.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Creation of Business Requirements & Solution Design documents, including Process definition & mapping, Data analysis, RAID definition, Test Scenarios.
  • Facilitation of workshops & meetings with stakeholders.
  • Sourcing of new data feeds from upstream providers.
  • Supports project manager in delivery of project – e.g., may need to cover in periods of absence.
  • Supports System Analysts in implementation of solutions, may need to get “hands on” depending on project needs.
  • Supports the Testing Team in Quality Assurance of solutions & again may need to be directly involved as necessary.
  • Supports the Systems Team who run the solutions in Production & may need to be directly involved to resolve urgent issues.
  • Supports the Solutions Lead & Change Lead on ad hoc, urgent requests from senior stakeholders.
  • Develops & drives Continuous Improvement activities for the benefit of the Department.
  • Keeps their skills (technical, business & professional) current based on the changing demands of the team & projects.
  • Works collaboratively with fellow Business Analysts, contractors & other members of the immediate Change Team.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • Work experience as a Senior Business Analyst with previous Financial Services project experience, ideally in Regulatory Reporting covering prudential and statistical reporting (e.g., FinRep, CoRep, Liquidity reporting, AnaCredit etc).
  • Relevant years work experience is a bonus, accredited accountant preferable.
  • Experience of delivering solutions onto Regulatory Reporting platforms, Axiom SL / Adenza preferred, but others such as WKFS an advantage.
  • Further skills or equivalents such as SQL, Excel Data Analysis, Jira, Visio, Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite / SharePoint / Power Automate and Alteryx.
