Primary Purpose:
Responsible for contract management of Long-Term Service Agreements during commercial operation and administration over the specified term of the contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for contract management of Long-Term Service Agreements for energy storage facilities during commercial operation and administration over the specified term of the contract.
- Effectively manages contract counterparty relationships and associated contract disputes working with internal personnel (e.g., Legal) to facilitate acceptable outcomes for all parties.
- Manage and coordinate activities at assigned facilities including outages, maintenance periods, testing, and other facility events in accordance with contract requirements.
- Track and calculate system operational data as is relates to contract compliance. Reviews operational reports to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Prepare, negotiate and approve or recommend approval contracts changes.
- Travel to remote energy storage sites as needed in support of contract activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field of study, or equivalent related experience.
- 5 years Project management or related experience.
- Strong understanding of contract compliance and negotiation with experience in vendor relationship management.
- Well-versed in key contract terminology and possesses an understanding of how these terms are interrelated.
- Ability to accurately organize, analyze, and interpret data.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to review complex problems and propose innovative solutions.
- Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
- Understands the contract development process including Supply Management requirements and ability to apply Company policies.
- Possess a valid CA driver’s license.
- Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience related to contract management.
- Knowledge and understanding of the function and operation of battery energy storage systems.
- Project Management certification.
