Job Summary:
- We are looking for technology specialists who is a creative problem solver for the Tech & Business Consultant position.
- IT Consultants are responsible for implementing technological solutions to solve business problems, creating a schedule for analysis, implementation and testing of technology and working with in-house technical teams to ensure consistency of use, among other duties.
- The Consultant will consult on experience strategy, information and knowledge management architecture development, and interaction design to create innovative solutions for our sales force.
- This role is responsible for discovering, understanding, and communicating business requirements that address the practical needs and emotional desires of our sales teams to recommend people, process, and technology changes to maximize end-to-end sales team experience.
- This is a truly entrepreneurial role.
- Responsible for research, analyses, development and improvement of business processes.
- Utilizes analytical knowledge and skills to prepare a variety of studies and forecasts of business conditions and trends, draw relevant conclusions and provide recommendations to the organization.
- Utilizes improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, industrial engineering, job shadowing, instructional design) to deliver business results aligned to operational objectives.
- Identifies trends, problems, and evaluates practices and procedures.
- Understands and integrates adult learning theory into the end-to-end sales team experience.
- Recommends, implements, integrates and manages changes based on business complexities and changing marketplace conditions including Health Care Reform.
- Develops and designs research assets
- Conducts research sessions with sales teams on a variety of topics (including sensitive healthcare topics).
- Synthesizes large amounts of complex information to uncover insights about beliefs, behaviors, pain points, and systems
- Leads visual design of artifacts, such as journey maps, personas, archetypes, etc.
- Creative and out-of-the-box thinking / innovative ideas.
- Ability to see non-obvious opportunities, generate compelling creative solutions
- Translates ideas into concept sketches that can be tested with sales teams for desirability
- Facilitates user groups with sales teams and stakeholders to generate and evolve concepts
- Conducts prototype testing and iterates prototypes based on end user feedback
- Strong communication skills
- Produces effective presentation decks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with activities and deliverables with a rapid turnaround.
- Ability to manage time and tasks to balance design process and timelines.
Essential Functions:
- Leads multiple projects utilizing improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, industrial engineering) to deliver business results aligned to operational objectives.
- Serves as a process improvement consultant on large scale projects involving people, process, and technology changes.
- Identifies trends, problems, and evaluates practices and procedures.
- Recommends, implements, integrates and manages changes based on product complexities and changing market place conditions including Health Care Reform.
- Analyzing a company’s IT system and infrastructure.
- Diagnosing IT system problems, inefficiencies and weaknesses.
- Planning a timeline for completion of projects.
- Understanding a client’s business needs.
- Implementing a technological solution to meet business needs.
- Analyzing and determining security threats.
- Providing advice on technology best practices.
- Collaborating with technical in-house team to ensure familiarity with technology.
- Training staff to use the new IT system.
- Monitoring the success of IT solution.
- Producing detailed reports on the efficacy of the technology.
Job Requirements:

- SME in consulting technology with proven implementation experience
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of Professional experience as an Architect or consultant working on progressively complex business improvement projects
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT related field or additional related equivalent work experience
Preferred Education:
- Master’s in IT or related field to solution
