Job Description
AnLar is looking for a proactive, highly organized project manager with strong communication skills on our Federal team to support a portfolio of exciting U.S. Department of Education technical assistance contracts and programs including the Education Innovation and Research (EIR) program.

The position can be done fully remote however, preference will be given to candidates located in the Washington, DC area who are excited to work from our Arlington office 2x/week.

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS:
- Strategic Planning: Working closely with the EIR Project Director to develop the overall project plan by analyzing needs assessments and evaluation data, recommending technical assistance (TA), overseeing and ensuring the quality implementation of TA resources and activities, and facilitating the development and dissemination of research and resources.
- Coordinating Technical Assistance: Planning and implementing technical assistance events, such as the annual project directors meetings with direction from the Project Director including content development, overall logistics planning and support, interfacing with participants, managing event contracts, coordinating with presenters, preparing materials, etc.
- Leading Communities of Practice (CoPs): Oversee the implementation of EIR CoPs; subject matter expert selection, training and oversight; managing membership requests and communication; planning and facilitating the monthly CoP Lead meeting; managing our knowledge management tools including BrightSpace and Grantee Resource Library.
- Relationship Management: Serving as a liaison and coordinating between project stakeholder groups including our client, grantees, technical assistance providers, and other internal staff.
- Project Management: Coordinating and planning meetings, including developing agendas, taking meeting notes, and managing requests from the client as needed; reporting, tracking, and managing project budget information, including tracking project spending, running reports in AnLar’s timekeeping system, monitoring subcontractor budgets and project reporting required by the client.

- Experience working with the federal government and/or in the education field.
- Experience managing and facilitating Communities of Practice (CoPs).
