$500 Sign On Bonus
Part-time: estimated 20/hours a week. Variable schedule – Saturday mornings variably required.

As an Early Childhood Instructor (Teacher) in our Family and Community Based Services Program, you’ll make a significant impact by utilizing your education, communication, and relationship skills to create space for new parents to learn about parenting young children and help them build their social supports and empower them to become part of a strong parent community!
Your Skills and Duties
- Develop family literacy, early learning, and parent education class curriculum and content.
- Prepare and provide curriculum and activities that are developmentally appropriate for the parent and child.
- Conduct child development screenings.
- Develop and provide pre-k transition programming including parent-child interactive classes that simulate preschool experiences.
- Teach and deliver parent-child classes.
- Coordinate and facilitate events and workshops.
- Establish event agendas and assist with center calendar development.
- Monitor attendance, participate in evaluation of services, and support center registration.
- Serve as a member of an integrated team of teachers, outreach and engagement workers and case managers.
- Supports projects, initiatives, and/or specific program functions.
- Complete monthly report on classes delivered.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education & Work Experience
- Working towards Associates Degree with at least 12 Early Childhood Education units completed; OR Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related degree
- Demonstrated experience with successfully providing African American/Black-centric family support services
- Two (2) years of experience in family support preferred
- Experience related to center-based services and/or home visitation services preferred
- Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility; i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL, and clean driving record
