Full-Time Residential Registered Manager

Job Description

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join the Phoenix Futures team and lead our new and innovative Enhanced Therapeutic Community Residential Service as Registered Residential Manager in Oakwood, Derby.

The Role

You will manage the day to day operations and lead your multidisciplinary team to ensure high quality recovery focused delivery in accordance with legislation and governing bodies including the CQC and commissioners.

As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of compliance with CQC standards of care this will be achieved by conducting regular audits and service reviews and by providing clear leadership within the team. You will act as the strategic lead managing and driving all areas of delivery. Your role will require you to create new business opportunities, effectively manage budgets, and ensure financial viability of your service in line with budget management policy.

You will be responsible for the direct line management of the Deputy Manager in supporting the delivery of the service, focussing on new and existing customer relationships to increase utilisation of the service whilst ensuring  a consistent high quality service to those accessing. You will find innovative ways to support people in their recovery whilst ensuring your service delivers evidence-based practice. You will be responsible for the external reputation of the service and be an ambassador for the wider organisation.

The role is based at the Oakwood Residential Service and you will be expected to take part in a on call rota to support the staff and service delivery.

Other organisations may call this role Residential Manager, Care Manager, Home Manager, Service Manager, Registered Service Manager.

–      Proven experience of managing teams of internal staff

–      Evidence of effective partnership working and the ability to network for the benefit of the client and service

–      Excellent knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements, regulations, and compliance.
