Full-Time Natural Resources Planner
Job Description
The Central Vermont Regional Planning Commission (CVRPC) works cooperatively with 23 member municipalities in Washington and Orange counties to address regional issues and provide effective local government. We engage with area non-profits, regional organizations, and State and Federal agencies to implement a variety of projects and programs tailored to local and regional needs, and complete projects of statewide importance. We’re looking for a full-time entry-level (Assistant Planner, $38,000 – $45,000) or mid-level (Planner, $40,000 – $58,000) land use planner with broad life experience and a passion for water and natural resource management. The ideal candidate will have a background in land use planning, municipal government, community development or natural resource management. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are a must. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and ESRI’s ArcGIS Pro software a plus.
