KEY FUNCTIONS:
See a minimum of 20 patients daily:
- Assess and provide direct services to individuals, families, children and adolescents on an outpatient basis;
- Prescribe and monitor medication(s);
- Provide education, diagnoses and treatment options related to patient care and medication;
- Complete any necessary documentation related to direct services provided;
- Assist in coordination of treatment or services of patient with primary care providers (PCP’s);
- Effectively communicate and work in conjunction with staff involved in patient treatment; and
- May participate in case consults.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ohio licensed Certified Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatric Specialty designation PMHNP;
- DEA License with prescriptive authority;
- Prior psychiatric experience and/or exposure through clinicals or employment necessary;
- Desire to work with individuals under the age of 18; and
- Pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing are mandatory
