Full-Time Coordinator, Gift Planning

To support our mission we are seeking a Coordinator, Gift Planning to join our Philanthropy team in Reston, VA.
In this role you will be responsible for providing an advanced level of administrative support to the Gift Planning program at the National Wildlife Federation. You will manage a variety of donor engagement efforts, serve as team lead for CRM data integrity and create reports for tracking and evaluation purposes. This role is central to the overall success of the program and we are looking for someone who is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, results focused, and a team player.
In this role you will:
Process all inquiry responses to mailings by reviewing constituent records, updating information and fielding inquiries to Gift Planning Officers as necessary.
Serve as team lead to streamline CRM data entry and processes to ensure data integrity. Be responsible for providing the Director with quarterly reports on marketing efforts and team metrics.
Serve as the point of contact for the Gift Planning team in collaboration with other Philanthropy teams and CRM staff.
Produce routine correspondence and “welcome packets” for all new Legacy Society members. Ensure donors are appropriately acknowledged by relationship managers.
Collaborate with the Philanthropy Operations team to develop and maintain standardized reports and analysis to inform leaderships’ efforts to monitor and evaluate portfolio management, strategy implementation, revenue generation and resource deployment.
Provide a broad range of administrative and logistics support to the Director and staff based at headquarters and in offices across the country.
Assist in the planning and execution of Legacy Society and other donor events when necessary.
Capture and maintain results from marketing efforts and donor-centered strategies.
Assist with the coordination of marketing efforts. Be responsible for maintaining the marketing calendar and coordinating segmentation of prospect mailings in collaboration with Philanthropy staff. Anticipate and communicate future inquiry activity to team for planning purposes.
Aid in the development of presentations and materials for meetings when necessary.
Serve as team lead for Gift Planning’s toll-free line and serve as the point person for handling all phone related issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 2-3 years of administrative experience required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail is essential.
Superior interpersonal skills.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize and meet deadlines is required.
Advanced knowledge in administrative software programs and database management reporting tools including Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM.
Demonstrated experience supporting team members in administrative duties while managing individual workload.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a non-profit setting.
Familiarity with Philanthropy and passion for the preservation and protection of wildlife and wild places a plus.
There may be some travel involved in this role to conferences.
