Full-Time Quality Control Executive

The Role…

This position will be responsible for the physical inspections of our finished goods, ingredients & packaging at our warehouse and work closely with the Quality department on the external testing of our products.

What you need to deliver…

• Lead person running Lintbells Warehouse sampling on our finished goods delivered by third party manufacturers (3PMs) and ingredients & packaging from our suppliers

• Responsible for the QC inspection process and raising non conformances

• Updating the system with approval once stock is passed inspection and testing or putting stock on hold / rejecting if non conforming

• Design and share QC protocol with suppliers and collect QC inspection report from 3PMs

• Liaising with labs as a central point of contact for all our testing and stability schedules

• Support the scheduling, tracking, capturing and archiving of all information related to testing and stability studies

• Understand and read test results to escalate findings

• Support audits of 3PMs and suppliers physically and virtually

• Support the rest of the Quality department as and when needed

• Support Lintbells sustainability initiatives by collecting required information internally and externally

• Update and implement the impact assessment, change control and CAPA processes

• Support the wider Operations team as and when required

What you need to succeed…

• Passionate about quality

• A quick learner who is keen to increase their knowledge

• Qualification in sciences desirable, but not essential

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment ideal

• Able to deal with ambiguity well, pro-actively seeking out solutions

• Being able to continually prioritize as things change – identify what makes a task urgent or important and decide which tasks must be tackled first

• The ability to use your initiative and work well under pressure

• Good communicator to be able to collaborate and influence well within the business as well as dealing with external providers

• Organized with strong attention to detail

• You drive to make things happen, using pragmatism and logic like a true ‘self-starter’

• You are enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and willing to challenge the status quo

• You are a team player – we’re a close-knit team
